We are seeking responsible, team-oriented lifeguards and swim instructors to work at our Aquatic Center. Applicants must pass a Village-sponsored lifeguard certification class before employment begins. This position is ideal for recreation/leisure majors. We are pleased to announce that GH20 Aquatic Center will be opening for public swim on Wednesday, July 8th. Registration for a two hour time slot will be available on-line or by phone (630.260.6060) beginning Tuesday, July 7th at 8:00am. Fees for each time slot are $4 for residents and $8 for non-residents.
Pre-registration is REQUIRED. In order to register for a time slot you must have an active household in our Sports Hub Registration System. We highly recommend confirming your household account is active. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, GH2O will be operating at a limited capacity and under the strict guidelines and recommendations set forth by the Illinois Department of Public Health and Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois Plan. The Recreation Department is pleased to announce that Fitness Members will again have the opportunity to workout at the Sports Hub. Beginning Monday, June 29th, the Fitness Center and Indoor Walking Track will be available for use Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 6:45pm and Saturdays, 8:00am - 11:45am.
In accordance with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity "Restore Illinois" Guidelines, facility capacities have been reduced. As a result, members will be required to reserve their workout/walking time of 30-90 minutes (no more than 1 day in advance) with Sports Hub staff. Preschool and PATH registrations for the 2020/2021 are delayed until further notice. Registrations for these programs will begin after Queen Bee School District 16, Marquardt School District 15 and Glenbard District 87 have announced their return to school plans.
