The Village of Glendale Heights and the Glendale Heights Founders Day Committee are sad to announce that Glendale Heights Fest 2020 will be canceled due to COVID-19. Glendale Heights Fest was scheduled for Wednesday through Sunday, July 15-19 at Camera Park in Glendale Heights. With the guidelines mandated by the State of Illinois, the Village of Glendale Heights and the Founders Day Committee believe that Glendale Heights Fest would not be able to operate while respecting the Governor’s Restore Illinois plan, which calls for no mass gatherings until a vaccine or treatment for COVID-19 is developed. The Village of Glendale Heights believes that the health and safety of Glendale Heights Fest attendees, volunteers, entertainers, vendors, and staff are of the utmost importance.
All playgrounds, the skate park, and basketball courts are closed until further notice. All parks will remain open available for walking, running and bike riding. Please remember to use social distancing while using our parks.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are only producing online brochures for the above listed publications. The ever-changing complexion of the pandemic and the Governor’s Executive Orders have placed a number of our upcoming programs into question. We look forward to getting these documents printed and back in resident’s hands as soon as possible.
This essential camp is being offered to assist parents with childcare during the summer months. Camp starts June 15, and goes from 8:30am - 4:00pm. Registration is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration deadline is June 8th. Contact the Sports Hub at 630.260.6060 for more information.
